I came up with this joke this morning as we were reading together in Ether: "Why did Jared always get mad at his brother?.....Because he would always come barging in on his conversations" ;)
This week we worked really hard and we saw the Lord fill in for the rest. We contacted a deaf guy who ran away at the sight of my Book of Mormon. Got a bunch of pamphlets from the JWs. Had some lessons fall through. BUT then we got to go to church with Yuki and her ADORABLE 2-year-old twin sons. AND Sister Lo got her work schedule changed and asked if she can move up her baptism date. Ah. Prepared people make it all worth it!!!!

Yuki is cool. Her in-laws are members and she sees how the gospel blesses their families and says she wants that to happen to her own family. She thinks it's nuts that we don't drink coffee. But we are looking forward to teaching her about the blessings that come from keeping the Word of Wisdom.
Sister Lo is just an Angel. She is about 50 and just wants to do what is right. Every time we meet her she says, okay, so when can I get baptized and what do I need to do? Book of Mormon and daily prayer is what has got her to this point!

Something else way cool, this weekend we had Stake Conference. We were powerfully taught by Elder Wong of the Seventy. He talked to us about ward council working together to make Sacrament meetings more reverant and Spiritual. (been hearing this a lot here, lately. Is it churchwide, or just in Hong Kong?) He posed the question, "When have you had a Spiritually uplifted in Sacrament meeting?" It taught me that every single week should be a time for us to have a Spiritual experience. What a blessing it is to partake of the Sacrament weekly and to come to church with our wards to worship. I'm grateful in my time here I have learned to really cherish the Sabbath.
Hope ya'll have a great week.
