This week I just want to share about 2 special people we are working with.
Caroline is 18 and is the sweetest little Chinese school girl. She invited us to her home to eat the dumplings she had made with her mom that day. We got to meet her mother before she ran off to her job. Caroline is so pure and innocent-her mother is very opposite of her. But Caroline listens to her mother and is an angel in her life. She takes care of the house and is home alone most of the time.
Viann is the daughter of Sister Lam who has been less-active for a while but this past month has made some major changes in her life. She is caring for her 7 year old daughter, despite her old age herself. Her young daughter Viann sometimes shouts out during lessons about past sins in her mothers life and Sister Lam patiently tells her it doesn't matter, it was in the past. (hehe, so cute). Every morning Viann reminds her mother to pray, don't smoke, and go to church on Sundays.
But I just want to share about these two sweet little girls who are little angels in their mothers' lives. I think it is so amazing that despite the challenges they have in their lives, they are such pure girls and will do anything to help their moms.
"Heavenly Father wants to help us, He really does. But it is usually though other people that he reaches out to us"
I know this is true with all my heart <3
