你好!!
This week was full of a lot of teaching and a lot of finding. We were able to see all of our investigators and had really good lessons with them. Then ironically enough, not a single one of them showed up to church! The mission never stops with the ups and downs :)

| Do you want a Book of Mormon? |
I love what Caroline taught us this week. She made us cute paper roses and told us that each woman is different. We decide what we want to become. Just like how she made the roses. It was cute ;) At the begining of the lesson she was really upset becuase her prayer hadn't been answered. Then at the end she concluded that perhaps the Lord did answer her prayer since he sent the missionaries to her to "share a happy message and bring a different feeling". She is only 18 but she is FULL of wisdom.
Frankie drilled us with questions about the Book of Mormon. We got to study a lot about why Nephi killed Laban. It's a simple story, but for thoses reading the BoM for the first time, it can be a puzzler for some. I learned this :
"The Lord slayeth the wicked to bring forth His righteous purposes. It is better that one man should perish than that a nation should dwindle and perish in unbelief." (1 Ne 4:13) We asked him ,"what would happen if Nephi hadn't killed Laban?" We wouldn't have the BOM today and then not only would a "whole nation perish in unbelief" but a whole world would be today perishing in unbelief. The Lord works in mysterious ways. we may not understand it all the time. but it's okay, we just need to trust him. :)

We are excited for our new investigator Alex! He met the missionaries in taiwan a couple years ago and wants to meet again here in Hong Kong. We had a solid lesson about Priesthood Authrority. He was baptized in another church so had some questions about that. Way cool. I know that "the sole purpose of the Priesthood is to bring all of Heavenly Father's children back to Him. :)
Edward's lesson was solid too. He has a strong desire to make the righteous choice. He needs to postpone his baptism from this Sunday. We look forward to teaching him more and helping him achieve a new baptizm date!

I'm so grateful for what I have learned this week. Sister Stromberg and I love each other and are learning so much in this area! We survived her first signal 8 typhoon warning (it was a dud...we taped our windows and stayed in from 6pm on..and it didn't even rain that hard. Haha, gotta love HK weather). We know that everything good that is happening here is all because of the Spirit. I love being a missionary!!
