WEEK 70

This week it was Sister Cook's turn to get sick :( So sad, but I got my calling and organizing skills perfected to the T. We spent 4 days inside, I went a little crazy, but was able to get a lot done with our record books and calling former investigators back from 2008... as well as redocorate our apartment and exterminate the cockroaches.
(I had no idea we had cockroaches that big because we are never at home when they come out. What a miracle!).

There is this amazing thing called Korean BBQ.
It's a buffet and the greatest thing to do on Preparation day.
So then on Friday we were told that the Elder's will be closing their area. Us Sisters are taking on the ward on our own! This is NOT a normal thing in the mission. We have a ton of Elders going home this week, so some sister comapnionships will be on their own. So weird! So they started turning over their investigators to us, starting with Dragon last night, then Joseph and Frankie tonight. Ya, that's right, we are teaching men!! It's very different from what I am used to...but we just laugh off the awkwardness, put on our tags, and do as the Spirit directs!

Heavenly Father blessed some very wonderful people in our path this week...or well...on the bus-my golden finding tool! The first girl was Shirley!! She is stoked to come to church with us on Sunday! Then Jenny. After about 3 minutes she confessed she is a less- active member in our ward. Ya! More friends to teach!

Sister Wong is coming to Utah tomorrow!!!
She will be in the temple square mission in 3 weeks!!
If you see her around, let her give you a tour!
She will be the best missionary ever!!
Being stuck inside always makes me appreciate the hot sweaty days we get to spend outside. I love this work and am pumped for another week in this Labor of Love!!

Love you all, hope you have a great week too!!

Mr. Hung!! Our investigator from Vietnam and his cute little pals :)
We had a great lesson about who Jesus Christ is and just used a bunch of pictures.
He loved it!!
This is our church.
Can you understand why some people can't recognize itA
It's covered in bamboo!!
